May
As we step into peak wedding season, this month’s issue is has an additional edit, catering to those searching for the perfect pieces to wear as a guest.
Lately, I’ve found myself drawn to unexpected shades for spring and summer - rich burgundies and earthy browns (because why not?). I’ve been loving delicate, pyjama-like silks paired with crisp, boxy-fit tees, finished off with loafers or a retro-sneaker and socks for an effortless balance. Desert tones continue to have a hold on me - need I say more? And yes, I’m still very much in my drop-waist era (as you’ll see in my wedding guest edit below).

FROM MOOD TO MINE
I was in desperate need of some new tops that weren’t a plain t-shirt! Love the colour of this one and it has a zip on the side so feels is fitted in the right places
A great low rise baggy jean!
I saw Olivia Duncan in a similar style jacket but from Co which was sadly sold out in my size, but I stumbled across this lighter linen version. I love a tunnel collar on jackets at the moment and this material keeps is SS friendly!
I have a wedding at the beginning of June - the straps are removable which is how I intend to wear it, paired with some brown Bottega’s heels, that’s said I am tempted to swap it for the Toteme number above.. eek
This is actually the same top as the first terracotta one but in cream. Worn here!
So chic with a little t-shirt and loafers or mary janes
Not sure if I will keep these, they are SO flattering on the foot and actually way more versatile in my wardrobe over the blue in April’s wish list but the gold came tarnished so I’m kind of gutted..
A sort of ashy brown colour in real life and a twisted left strap
THE MOOD, SERVED
Ottolenghi, Richmond
I know it’s not a new name on the scene, but Ottolenghi has just opened in Richmond — and I think it might be my favourite one yet. I’m a fully signed-up Ottolenghi superfan. It’s such a brilliant lunch spot and a great dinner party go-to; if you own any of his cookbooks, you’ll understand.
Richmond’s high street feels like it’s had a bit of a rebrand lately. I grew up here, so I like to think I know it well — but wandering through at the weekend, I noticed some genuinely unique boutiques that felt so refreshing. There’s a new hat shop up on Richmond Hill (and if you know me, you’ll know I love a hat), a sharp new menswear store, and a beautifully curated art gallery called Prince & Pilgrims.
Julie’s
Following an Ali Stileman event showcasing some of her incredible jewellery, we stopped in at Julie’s for a quick bite. The clashing prints and layered interiors were a feast for the eyes - old-school charm with a modern edge.
We ordered the crab and croquettes to start, both fresh and well-balanced, followed by the lobster and mussels, which came in a rich, buttery broth. Julie’s feels like a bit of a hidden gem in Notting Hill; elegant without being too formal, with just enough personality to make it memorable. Ideal for a casual meal that still feels like a treat.
THE MOOD I LANDED IN
I landed in Corfu for a girls’ trip with my mum; a few days of sunshine, tennis, great food and proper R&R (which meant minimal screen time). I spent so many childhood summers on this island, so being back with her felt wonderfully nostalgic.
If you’re visiting, a day trip to Paxos is a must. Take a boat down to the island and ask your skipper to stop at the coves along the way for a swim - Emerald Bay is non-negotiable. If you go by rib rather than sailing yacht, you’ll be able to venture into the caves as well, which is worth it. Our favourite restaurant on the island is Vassilis Taverna in Loggos.
Corfu’s Old Town is well worth exploring; it’s narrow streets are full cute, independent shops, and understated local restaurants, all set against a backdrop of historic forts.

Quinta do Lago, Portugal
This is a bit of a home away from home, as my boyfriend’s mum lives out here – so expect plenty of regular content. One of the best things about Portugal is that you can visit almost any time of year. Summer brings the heat, of course, but even in the winter months, the weather can be surprisingly mild and pleasant.
