September

September always comes with that back-to-school feeling, a soft reminder that autumn, and routine, are around the corner. This year, I’m really trying to lean into it: trying new habits, setting small goals, and bringing home little pieces of holiday (like slower mornings and phone-free nights) to make the transition feel less like an ending and more like a reset. I kind of look at it as my New Year, there is less pressure around it, and a softer meaning.

When I was away this summer, I realized how good it felt to not constantly have my phone in my hand, so I’ve picked up my book each evening. I’m currently enjoying Anbody Out There by Marian Keyes, its a story about love and loss, which moves gently, so the perfect evening read.

I was sent a new Medik8 Pro-Collagen Peptide Cream (thank you, Medik8), which has changed my skin regime for the better. It’s light and fluffy but deeply moisterising, and anti-wrinkle - not sure what more I could ask for. I thought about getting botox for the first time the other day, but this cream seems to be doing all the right things for me to put it off for a year or so more..

It’s a transition of seasons in London at the moment, one day it still feels like a long mid-summers day, where others its cold and wet, so I’m taking each day as it comes but I definitely have a few pieces I am wearing on repeat, as well as a few new bits of course.
